On the other hand, the CELPIP General LS is accepted solely for citizenship applications and is limited to Canada. The exam duration is 1 hour 10 minutes with two modules: Listening and Speaking. These two CELPIP tests provide different purposes and are distinguished by scope and availability.
CELPIP Exam Registration
You must register on the CELPIP official website with a valid ID and pay using credit cards, debit cards, net banking, UPI, or a discounted CELPIP exam voucher you purchased from us. The fee for the CELPIP General test in India is ₹18290, inclusive of GST.

* Create your account by providing your credentials.
* You can receive an email within 48 hours containing your login details.
* It has two kinds, named CELPIP- General or CELPIP- General LS; therefore, choose your test type first.
* The next step is to search for your nearest test centres (in Canada and internationally) or choose the online test option available in your region.
* Select your date and time that suits you best.
* Upload your valid information as required, and usually carry a passport.
* Double-check all information and submit your registration to download/ print your verification receipt.
CELPIP Exam Day Tips
Read the instructions that candidates must know before taking the CELPIP exam:
* Reached 30 minutes early before your scheduled reporting time at the CELPIP exam centre, so that you can’t be late for giving exam to avoid last-minute tension.
* Make sure that you carry your acceptable ID, especially your passport. Without it, you can’t take your test.
* Ensure your booking credentials match your ID. Contact customer support if you have any issues.
Upon arrival, they will do certain things to verify your identity:
* See your ID and check that the details exactly match your booking.
* Take a digital photograph of yourself.
* Ask for your digital signature.
* Scan the palm of your hand or fingerprints for security purposes.
CELPIP Result and Scores
You can access your CELPIP test scores online through your CELPIP account within 3-4 business days after the test date. An email notification will be received once the scores are available. You can download the report as a PDF once the scores have been posted. Moreover, you can view the CELPIP test scores online for 2 years from the test date.
NOTE: The hard copy score report has been discontinued.
Validity of CELPIP Test Scores
Your CELPIP exam score is valid for 2 years from the date you take the exam.
